Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
By creating an account or using KTM Watcher ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. KTM Watcher is built and run by an independent Malaysian developer, not a company — there's currently no registered business entity behind it.

1. What KTM Watcher Is
KTM Watcher is an independent, unofficial tool that watches for seat availability on KTMB intercity (ETS) routes and alerts you when seats open up. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to KTMB — all schedules, pricing, and booking happen on KTMB's own platform; we don't sell tickets, hold seats, or process bookings. The Service is currently free to use.
2. Accounts
Sign up with email/password or Google, and keep your credentials secure. One account per person — we may suspend or terminate accounts used to abuse, spam, or overload the Service.
3. What the Service Does — and Its Limits
We monitor seat availability using automated, best-effort methods against KTMB's public search system, but we don't guarantee every opening will be detected or every alert delivered instantly — delays or misses can happen due to KTMB changes, downtime, network issues, notification outages, or bugs. An alert is not a reservation — seats can be taken within seconds, and you're solely responsible for booking directly on KTMB. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or inconvenience from a missed, delayed, or false alert.
4. Watch Limits
Up to 10 active watches per account, each covering up to 3 dates. Your first-ever watch must be a single date. We may adjust these limits as the Service grows; changes will show on the dashboard.
5. Notification Channels
Connect Telegram and/or browser push, and disconnect either anytime from your dashboard. We're not responsible for alerts missed because a channel was disconnected, misconfigured, or blocked at the platform/browser/OS level.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer KTMB's systems; don't try to circumvent watch limits or account restrictions; don't use the Service unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
7. Account Deletion
Email [email protected] to delete your account anytime. This permanently removes your watch data, seat history, Telegram link, and login credentials (see our Privacy Policy). Re-registering with the same email starts fresh.
8. Public Status Page
Our live feed at ktmwatcher.com/status shows recent, anonymized seat-opening activity on popular routes. No login required — but it's informational only and doesn't notify you directly like a personal watch does.
9. Changes, Warranties, and Liability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, and update these Terms, at any time — we'll update the date above and notify active users of material changes; continued use means acceptance. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or availability. It's free of charge, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, cost, or damage arising from its use.
10. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Questions? Email [email protected].
