Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using KTM Watcher ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
KTM Watcher is a seat availability monitoring and alert service for KTMB (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) train tickets. We monitor seat availability on your behalf and notify you via Telegram when seats become available on your chosen route and date.
3. Your KTMB Credentials
To use the Service, you must provide your KTMB login credentials. By providing these credentials, you authorise KTM Watcher to log in to KTMB on your behalf solely for the purpose of searching seat availability. We will never use your credentials to book, cancel, modify, or access any other function of your KTMB account. Your credentials are encrypted before storage and are never shared with any third party. You may remove your credentials from our system at any time via your dashboard.
4. Credits and Charges
KTM Watcher operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are charged only when we successfully find available seats and deliver an alert to you. Monitoring a route without receiving an alert is free. New accounts receive RM10 free credit upon registration. Credit top-ups are processed manually via DuitNow transfer. Credits expire after 12 months of account inactivity. All charges are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
5. Pricing
RM3 per alert (first opening event per watch). RM1 per alert (subsequent opening events, same watch). RM5 per alert (travel within 48 hours). Maximum charge of RM8 per watch. We reserve the right to change pricing for new watches at any time.
6. Refunds
Credits are non-refundable except in cases where a charge was made in error. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate and refund if appropriate.
7. Service Availability
KTM Watcher depends on the availability of KTMB's online booking system. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for missed alerts caused by KTMB system downtime, changes to KTMB's website, or circumstances outside our control.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to create watches on behalf of others for commercial resale purposes. You may not attempt to circumvent any technical measures of the Service. You may not use the Service in any way that violates applicable Malaysian law.
9. Limitation of Liability
KTM Watcher is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss arising from missed seat availability alerts, service interruptions, or any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total credits held in your account at the time of the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via Telegram.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
